From Ashes - The Album
From Ashes is the story of Rhetara, a princess from another world who's soul is taken by the Netherworld when it rises against her kingdom. In the fires of the hellish underrealm she leads a rebellion against the undead and returns to to the world- reborn to reclaim her throne. The story is told through varying, dynamic, cinematic orchestral pieces with operatic female vocals and male/female choirs sung in latin, soaring strings, powerful horns and even rocking guitars from composer, orchestrator and conductor Matthew Baamonde (Baazar.)
Each one of the tracks reflects an emotional moment in Rhetara's journey with a final bonus track (Prophecy) foreshadowing adventures to come...
